Ok, this is my first time doing Nano, and I've already got the plot, characters, conflict, and setting pretty much done. So, now I'm just kinda bored and writing random things in my writer's journal. I'm already sorta developing a story for NaNo '07, which is driving me nuts that I'm doing that already. It's working title is "How Long Till November?". It has nothing that I can see to do wih November, but I dunno, maybe I'll work it in somehow, or I'll just probably rename it. It's based off this idea that my mom had about a factory that's kinda near our house about big fuzzy wolf things that enslave people to work in their beloved facotry. I've already writing a passage for it, but that will most likely never turn up in the final draft as it is in first person( the book is to be in third), has nothing to do with the story but to get me aquainted with the characters and conflicts, and I don't think that what happens in it happens at all, but I'm in love with my peice of writing anyway ^^. Maybe I'll do JaNaNo, but I'll probably have worn out my writing muse so much from NaNo that it won't want to do anything else until a long while. Leathowin's Love is still on hold untill NaNo passes and I get a workable plot since I'm already at the end of chapter 2 and have no idea what is going on. I've done some weird writings also in my journal that are like random scenes from random stories that I never knew existed in my mind. To keep my bordom level low the past couple of weeks I've been playing around with Adobe Photoshop. I've actually finished coloring one of my characters, which has never happened before except to little chibis, and made a bookmark for "How Long Till November?". So, yup just kinda bored here and waiting for NaNo...sooooo......bored..... -Willow

So, yup I've just started up a webbie with book reviews! So far there's only like one review and a short book suggestion list, but at least its started. Here's the link iffen anybody cares. Howdy y'all! ^^ Wow, it's been a little while since my last post hasn't it? But at least I'm keeping this up! Well, I've finally started back school! Not that I wanted to, that is. I'm doind this typing program that I got at the store on my compie to help improve my already fabulous typing skills ^^. I think I'm now 41 words per minute! My goal ish 50. But enough about that. On to the book!
So far in Leathowin's life.....
Well, I've finally finished chapter 2 and it has 3,156 words! about a thousand more than the last chapter! So anyway, Leathowin found out that her brother was leaving from Syaoran(and then he made a fool of himself while she left, of course), went after Erith, and promised him that she would stay in Ithelya. But do you think that she will? NO!!! She ish a bad elfie after all ishn't she? Later on she will find out through the trees that Erith got captured by zullics, the evil barbaric people that everyone hates! So she has to go off and attempt to save him. I did write her capture in my red spiral notebook in the middle of the night becuase I was litterally writing it in my mind, word by word, while I was laying in my bed, and I thought, "I'm going to forget this before I even fall asleep!" So I grabbed my trusty notebook that ish beside my bed, pencil, and light-up pen(I usually use my gameboy for a light but it was in the other room so I used my pen(its blue too, the light being emitted from teh pen, pretty blue!)) and wrote down the scene. It still needs some major editting, but I'm very happy with that scene ^^. It kinda protrays that elves can indeed become very dirty and be affected by bugs biting her such as lice and ants(fire ants too! those evil little things that bite you when your miding your own buissness >.<). So, yup I'm kinda happy with my progress. Oh, and...
Guess who's doing NaNoWriMo this year!
I accutally asked my parents iffen I could do it and they kinda said yes! I even have a smi-complete plot that I'm going to do. It's going to be about this girl names Alyssa who, while in a museum with her art class, gets sucked into a painting and then decideds that she wants out. I still have to develop it more and the characters are kinda blah and unlifelike so far. I'm developing it on storyright.com so far(I luff that webbie! ^^) and all I have is the basic plot and three undeveloped characters, only once of which I know what her hair color and eye color is, Alyssa of course. Well, I guess that's it from me for now. -looks at entrie- I wrote a lot this time! Oh, that word counter thingy, I'm switching to this other one becuase its more spiffeh.

Hiya! Sorry it's been a while for me to be updating......heh heh......I'm not so good at this journal thingy. So anyyyywayyyyyy......I gots some pretty cool programs from this cool webbie that help with writing, my favorite, yWriter2. It's really really cool. It even helps you organize your characters! On to my novel
Ok, I'm like really happy 'cause I've finished chapter 1!!!!!!!!! -dances- And I'm working on chapter 2 (duh!) Let's see what's new.....oh Leathowin ish now engaged, betrothed really, and she doesn't like it. And Leathowin now has a maid! Yeah, I've been kinda developing the elves culture and stuff so they're not those stupid cliche elves that you see everywhere. Mine actually aren't "fading" or whatever and there aren't any men in their world yet. Hmmm.....what else.....oh, and Syaoran and Leathowin are about to dine in Aryole, this really weird place where the trees sing o_O;......yeah, it just kinda wrote itself there. Syaoran ish about to make a fool out of himself also and tell some very secret, top secret, no one else ish supposed to know secret news to Leathowin about her brother leaving Ithelya to travel and find out how far the shadow has taken a hold on the land. So now Leathowin has to go and follow him, even when she promised her mother that she wouldn't leave Ithelya......bad elfie! -waves finger back and forth- Go to your corner!!!!!!
Hmmmm.....I think that's it on updates and such on my novel.....oh yeah word count! duh -hits self on forehead- I always forget that thingy........
wow! I have hit the amazing 8% mark!!!!!! Yay me!!!!!!

Ok I'm happy now 'cuase I fixed the beginning! So it ish still where they are going to the council, but this time they aren't summoned they go and spy on it! Now I just have to tie that and the next scene together where Erith catches Leathowin trying to follow him. Oh yeah word count thingy.....-goes to get the url- ok I got it ^^. Now I'm goignt o go and fold the towels *yuck* and then get in the pool and think about how to do other things in this novel. Oh and here's the word count graphic thingy.

Ok, fixed the beginning poblem, for now at least. I've taken a scene I wrote earlier for the beginning and twisted it around. So now my word count went down ;_; , but now I've officially started writing the content of the book. I decided to make Leathowin's(main character) brother sent out to find out how much the shadow has reached out on to the land and she follows him. So that's how I figured out how to get her lost out in the forest where the trees won't talk to her. So I'm kinda happy for now, but I need to break and go watch the new shows on Disney channel. It's one where zack, cody, raven, and hannah montana are on the same show ^^ so be back later hopefully. |

 ugh..........I'm having so much trouble with chapter 1. I have no idea what I should do with it or how to start out. I'm going to have to come up with something soon. So far I've attempted to start it out with Leathowin( the main character) going to a council thingy with her brother about the darkness spreading on the land, but this isn't working very well. I need to figure out how to try everything that I want to happen together. So yeah it's getting annoying. Well, I'm going to go get in the pool and think it over for now.

 Okay, this is where I'll be keeping a journal for the progress of my fantasy novel that I just began. As you can see from the above graphic meter thingy, I'll be updating my word count; my goal is 50,000 words for now.
Now about my novel. This novel I'm writing is based on a full length dream, with a complete plot. And yes I do have really weird dreams. This is the second novel that I'm writing. My first is on pause for now, so I can fully work on this and give it my full attention.
And about the plot. The story is about an elf who falls in love with a person of another race closely related to the elves, but the elves and the other race are fighting over the borderline of their kingdoms. She, the main character, gets lost and finds herself deep in the land of the zullics (other race). The main character helps to resolve the conflict. While this is going on, there is a prophecy that an elf of royal blood will be born and the moon's zenith, marked with the rune for moon on her forhead. I haven't really figured out what the child's going to do, but the story isn't really about her, it's about the elf I talked about earlier. The elf dies at the end of the story. So, now I just have to write it. ^^
